QC Inspector

The QC Inspector role involves monitoring the quality of incoming and outgoing products for the company. You will be responsible for conducting inspections, analyzing measurements, and ensuring that products align with established quality standards, safety regulations, and customer expectations. Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality will play a crucial role in the production process. Your key responsibilities will include inspecting raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods to verify compliance with quality standards. Any identified product defects or non-conformities should be documented and reported to the QC Supervisor or relevant department. You will maintain thorough inspection records, conduct sample testing, and utilize various measurement tools like vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Collaboration with the production team to implement corrective and preventive actions is essential, along with ensuring adherence to regulatory and safety standards. Furthermore, you will assist in root cause analysis for quality issues, participate in internal audits, and support external audit processes when necessary. It is imperative to uphold the cleanliness and calibration of inspection instruments and tools to guarantee accurate measurements and consistent quality standards. The ideal candidate for this position should possess a Diploma/ITI/Graduate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a relevant technical discipline. Previous experience as a QC Inspector or in a similar role within the specified industry is preferred. Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO, Six Sigma, or GMP is beneficial, along with familiarity with quality inspection tools and procedures. Strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and basic computer proficiency for data entry and report generation are essential qualities for this role. Preferred qualifications include certification in Quality Assurance or related training, as well as experience with ERP or quality management systems.
