QC Engineer - Supplier Industry - Ahmedabad

1. Inspection and Testing:

• Conduct thorough inspections & tests on incoming raw materials, components, in- process products, finished goods according to established procedures, specifications.

• Utilize various testing tools, equipment, and software (e.g., calipers, gauges, spectrophotometers, QMS software) to perform precise measurements and functional tests.

• Document inspection and test results accurately and meticulously, including any deviations or non-conformities.

• Ensure all tests are performed according to relevant quality standards (e.g., ISO, GMP, HACCP, FDA, industry-specific standards).

2. Quality Control Process Management:

• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of existing quality control processes, identifying any gaps, bottlenecks, or areas for improvement.

• Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address quality discrepancies and prevent recurrence of defects.

• Collaborate closely with production, engineering, and R&D teams to integrate quality control requirements into manufacturing processes and product design.

• Develop and maintain quality control plans, inspection procedures, and testing protocols.

3. Documentation and Reporting:

• Prepare comprehensive reports on product quality, including defect rates, compliance levels, non-compliance issues, root cause analyses, and corrective actions taken.

• Maintain accurate and organized records of all inspections, test results, audits, and quality-related data.

• Generate statistical process control (SPC) charts and other data analysis reports to monitor quality trends and identify potential issues.

• Present findings and recommendations to the Quality Manager and other relevant stakeholders.
