Job Description – QC Chemist

Department: Quality Control

Location: Taloja

Experience: 0–3 Years

Qualification: BSc / MSc (Chemistry)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine, in-process, and final testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products
• Conduct analysis using GC and HPLC as per approved methods and SOPs
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, specifications, and testing protocols
• Maintain accurate documentation including test reports, COAs, and logbooks
• Calibration, operation, and basic troubleshooting of laboratory instruments
• Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and housekeeping standards in the QC lab
• Coordinate with Production and R&D for quality-related observations and deviations
• Support internal and external audits and quality inspections

Skills & Knowledge

• Knowledge of GC (Gas Chromatography) and HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography)
• Understanding of wet chemical analysis and instrumental techniques
• Familiar with SOPs, documentation practices, and quality systems
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team

Preferred

• Immediate or short notice period
• Candidates residing near plant location

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹9,726.91 - ₹28,092.28 per month
