Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Quality Planning & System Management:

Develop and implement the Quality Control Plan for the project.
Establish and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).
Ensure all activities comply with project specifications, industry codes, and regulations.

Inspection & Testing:

Conduct on-site inspections of electrical installations, materials, and components.
Witness and approve tests, such as continuity and insulation resistance tests for cables.
Oversee the correct execution of testing procedures, including commissioning.

Documentation & Reporting:

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports detailing activities and findings.
Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and compliance.
Review and issue handover documents, including operation and maintenance manuals.

Material & Supplier Management:

Inspect incoming materials and components to ensure they meet specifications.
Work with suppliers to establish quality requirements and monitor their performance.

Compliance & Problem Resolution:

Identify and document deviations from standards or specifications by preparing non-conformance reports.
Perform root cause analysis for defects and recommend corrective actions.
Liaise with construction management, clients, and other stakeholders on quality matters.

Training & Auditing:

Conduct training sessions to ensure site personnel are aware of quality standards.
Perform internal quality audits and represent the project during external audits by clients or regulatory agencies.
