QAQC & Operational Excellence Leader

As a Senior Managerial position of QAQC & Operational Excellence at our Pune head office, you will be responsible for establishing, leading, and continuously elevating the Quality function across system quality, supply quality, and field quality for utility-scale renewable energy projects. Your primary focus will be to architect and institutionalize a world-class QA & QC department, defining policies, processes, and metrics to ensure defect-free, compliant, and high-performance assets are delivered by EPC partners. Your role will involve setting up and governing the QA & QC department structure, developing an Integrated Management System (IMS) encompassing ISO standards, authoring and maintaining quality manuals and plans, and establishing oversight mechanisms for continuous improvement and strategic alignment. You will drive certification and continual improvement across quality management systems, implement a digital Quality Management Information System for tracking metrics, facilitate risk assessments, manage vendor audits and inspections, oversee field quality control, and lead initiatives for operational excellence and continuous improvement. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, represent the company in audits, and focus on team development to ensure a high-performing QA & QC team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, advanced certifications in Quality, extensive experience in QA & QC roles within renewable energy projects, and proficiency in relevant technical skills and industry standards. Key responsibilities include department setup & governance, system quality management, supply quality assurance, field quality control, operational excellence & continuous improvement, leadership & stakeholder engagement.
