QA/QC Manager (Pigment & Industrial Gases)

Qualification:

B.Tech (Chemical/Material Science) or M.Sc. Chemistry

8–10 years of QA/QC experience in pigment, chemical, or industrial gas plants

Key Skills & Responsibilities:

Manage lab team and ensure adherence to quality standards for pigment and gas

Oversee testing of parameters like Fe content, ΔE (color), oil absorption, bulk density, pH, etc.

Ensure accurate gas purity testing (H₂, N₂) – using gas analyzers and dew point meters

Maintain and audit QAPs, ITPs, and internal SOPs as per customer/project requirement

Coordinate external lab validation, NABL testing, and product certification where needed

Review batch-wise quality data, analyze trends, and recommend corrective actions

Handle customer complaint analysis and prepare quality deviation reports

Maintain calibration schedules for lab instruments and testing equipment

Conduct training for lab chemists, plant operators on quality SOPs
