QA/QC Engineer

Job Title - QA/QC Engineer - MEP

Role Overview

Supports the Chief QA/QC Manager in implementing the quality management system across the 9 elevated stations. This role focuses on the site-level inspection of MEP services to ensure compliance with CMRL’s quality benchmarks.

Core Responsibility

• Quality Implementation: Executes the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and ensures all site-level activities adhere to ISO 9001 standards .
• Inspection & Verification: Conducts daily site inspections for HVAC, Electrical, and Firefighting installations to verify adherence to approved drawings .
• Material Control: Assists in the inspection of incoming materials and equipment, verifying test certificates and factory test results against specifications .
• NCR Resolution: Assists in identifying non-conformities and monitors the implementation of recovery action plans or corrective measures .
• Documentation Support: Maintains the QA/QC logbooks and ensures all inspection requests and results are logged into the PMIS.

Qualifications Needed

1. Educational Background B.E. in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering is mandatory.

2. Professional Experience Total Career Span: Minimum 8 years of total professional work experience . Similar Experience: Minimum 4 years specifically in QA/QC roles for large-scale E&M construction projects . Sector Expertise: Experience in Metro Rail or similar large-scale infrastructure involving E&M works.

3. Key Competencies Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of quality standards for HVAC, firefighting, and electrification systems . Analytical Skills: Ability to prepare exception reports for delays or quality failures with proposed action plans .

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
