Position: QA/QC Engineer

Qualification: B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 2 to 5 Years (in Quality Department – SS & CS Fabrication)
Salary: Based on knowledge & performance in interview

Key Responsibilities:

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in QA/QC for SS & CS fabrication.
• Proficient in handling storage tanks, pressure vessels, and heat exchangers.
• Preparation of quality documentation like Material Identification Reports, Stage Inspection Reports, etc.
• Basic understanding of welding consumables selection.
• Knowledge of WPS, PQR, and WPQ as per ASME/IS standards.
• Active participation in U Stamp audits.
• Preparation, submission, and approval of QAPs and project procedures.
• Thorough understanding of client specifications and technical requirements.
• Prepare and review WPS/PQR/WPQ/WTP as per applicable codes.
• Review of Material Test Certificates (MTCs) as per ASME Section II Part C.
• Monitor all QC-related activities across fabrication stages.
• Coordinating with laboratories and TPI (Third Party Inspectors) for test coupons, NDT, and stage-wise inspections.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials and in-process items.
• Ensure compliance with approved ITPs/QAPs/drawings during fabrication.
• Prepare final documentation including NDT Reports, Material Heat Charts, Hydro/Pneumatic Test Reports, etc.
• Interface with third-party agencies like TÜV, clients, and auditors for final inspections and approvals.

Required Certification:

• LPT Level II
• RT Level II

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹500,062.18 - ₹600,000.18 per year
