Bachelors degree in engineering (Electronics, Electronics & Telecom)
Knowledge of Embedded Engineering will be an added advantage.
25 years of experience in QA/QC in electronics or smart meter manufacturing.
Additional knowledge of PCB design (preferably Altium Designer).
Understanding of ISO 9001, 14001, and related quality systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Assurance & Quality Control procedures for smart energy meter production.
Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of electronic components, PCBs, and assembled meters.
Ensure products comply with relevant industry standards such as IS 16444, IS 15959, IEC standards, and utility requirements.
Monitor manufacturing processes to identify deviations and initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Prepare QA/QC documentation, test reports, calibration records, and quality metrics.
Work closely with R&D, Production, and Testing teams to resolve quality issues.
Conduct root-cause analysis.
Ensure proper functioning of test jigs, calibration setup, and automated test equipment (ATE).
Support internal and external audits.
Train production and testing teams on quality standards and procedures.

Key Skills Required

Strong knowledge of electronics manufacturing and testing processes.
Experience with smart energy meters (single-phase or three-phase) preferred.
Understanding of testing protocols.
Hands-on experience with instruments like oscilloscopes, power analysers, energy meter calibrators, and multi-meters.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of QA methodologies
