Position: Trainee QA ( Excellent English)

Level: BA2

Location: Mumbai Goregaon

Degree: MCA / BTech/ BE Com-sci or equivalent degrees is a must

Department: Services Delivery

Responsibilities

• Establish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is using industry-

accepted best practices

• Engage in discussions with cross-functional teams in coming up with better QA

solutions at an organizational level

• Create and maintain QA documentation

• Manage outside contract testers as & when required

• Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and

automated) as per client requirements

• Log, track, and close defects throughout the software development process

Skills

• Good understanding of test methodologies (performance, scale, functional, unit, code

coverage, static analysis, etc.) and tools to perform them.

• Strong communication and people skills are necessary as is the ability to work

independently

• Understanding of the role of QA in the development process.

• Good to have knowledge in developing automated software test using tools like

Selenium for testing web-based applications.

• Good to have knowledge of C#, Java, .net and/or other programming languages.

• Ability to organize and capture functional complexity in a comprehensive test plan.

• Ability to create clear and concise bug reports with actionable steps to reproduce.

• Good to have knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS is necessary.

• Good to have knowledge of Android, iPhone or Windows phone handset testing.

• Good to have knowledge of Subversion (SVN) or similar versioning system.

• Good to have knowledge of JIRA or similar bug tracking systems.

• Expertise in testing eLearning products would be a big plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
