QA Testers

The QA Tester plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of software applications before they reach the end-users. Your responsibility is to identify defects, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement within the software, allowing developers to create robust products. This role not only requires technical expertise but also strong analytical and collaborative skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. You will engage in both manual and automated testing processes to validate software functionality, security, and compliance with quality standards. As organizations increasingly focus on delivering high-quality software at a brisk pace, you become an indispensable member of the development team, contributing to the overall efficiency, reliability, and market readiness of the software products. You will design and execute test plans and test cases, perform manual and automated testing across various platforms, identify, document, and track bugs using bug reporting tools, collaborate with development teams to understand software requirements, participate in daily stand-up meetings and sprint planning, develop and maintain automated test scripts, review and analyze system specifications, document testing processes and results for future reference, perform regression testing when bugs are resolved, ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements, assist in the development of user acceptance testing (UAT) procedures, provide clear and constructive feedback to developers, participate in continuous improvement initiatives for QA processes, monitor test progress, and report on key metrics. Required Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field. - Proven experience as a QA Tester or similar role. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. - Experience using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla). - Knowledge of SQL and database testing. - Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC). - Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP). - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. - Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. - Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner). - Familiarity with web and mobile application testing. - Understanding of API and web services testing. - Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus. - Ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.
