QA Tester

We are seeking a QA Manual Tester with approximately 1 year of practical experience in software testing. As a QA Manual Tester, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and functionality of web and mobile applications by conducting thorough testing and maintaining detailed documentation. Your responsibilities will include understanding project requirements and developing detailed, well-structured test cases. You will be responsible for executing test cases manually, documenting defects clearly, and collaborating with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to address issues effectively. Additionally, you will be expected to conduct various types of testing such as Functional, Regression, Smoke, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), while keeping track of test cases, results, and defects using tools like JIRA and Bugzilla. Working in an Agile environment, your focus will be on maintaining high quality standards and driving continuous improvement. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with at least 1 year of experience in manual testing. Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities are essential requirements. This is a full-time, permanent position offering benefits such as a flexible schedule and paid sick time. The work schedule is during the day shift from Monday to Friday. The job location is in Sohana, Mohali, Punjab, and the ability to commute or relocate to this area is preferred.
