- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Experience with automated testing techniques and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG). - Proficient in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. - Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla). - Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#) for test automation purposes is a plus. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. - Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans and test cases for both manual and automated testing.
Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like Jira or similar.
Analyze test results, debug issues, and work with development teams to resolve them.
Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives in Agile/Scrum environments.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices across all testing efforts.
