QA Tester IV

Responsibilities:

* Perform manual testing of web and desktop applications to ensure they meet functional and non-functional requirements.

* Conduct manual testing of APIs to verify their functionality, reliability, and performance.

* Collaborate closely with developers, dev-managers, and other team members to understand application requirements and create comprehensive test plans and cases.

* Execute and document test cases, report defects, and follow up on issues.

* Utilize tools like Postman/Bruno for API testing.

* Provide regular updates on testing progress and issues to stakeholders.

* Assist in UI automation testing using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.

* Assist in API automation testing using tools such as RestAssured.

Primary Skills (Must-have/Mandatory):

* Proficiency in manual UI testing for both web and desktop applications.

* Experience in manual API testing and familiarity with REST APIs.

* Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Postman for API testing.

* Basic understanding of UI automation using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright and API automation using RestAssured-Java.

Secondary Skills (Good-to-have/Optional):

* Basic knowledge of performance testing using tools like JMeter or BlazeMeter.

* Exposure to mobile application testing.

* Exposure to AI.
