QA Tester

The company is seeking a proactive and sharp-minded Junior QA Tester to join the fast-paced development team in Mumbai. This role is ideal for fresh graduates looking to gain exposure to automation, API testing, and CI/CD environments. The Junior QA Tester will collaborate with developers, product owners, and senior QA engineers to ensure the products meet high-quality standards. Responsibilities: - Understanding project requirements and contributing to test planning and design. - Writing and executing comprehensive manual test cases for web and mobile applications. - Getting trained to contribute to automation test scripts using tools like Selenium. - Performing API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger. - Conducting various types of testing across different environments. - Identifying, logging, and tracking bugs using tools like JIRA. - Participating in sprint ceremonies. - Assisting in setting up and maintaining test environments. - Collaborating with the DevOps team to integrate test suites with CI/CD pipelines. Requirements: - Strong understanding of software testing principles, SDLC, and STLC. - Knowledge of writing and executing basic test cases. - Basic knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript. - Good understanding of HTTP methods, JSON/XML, and RESTful APIs. - Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools. - Excellent attention to detail, communication, and analytical skills. - Eagerness to learn new tools and frameworks quickly. Bonus Skills: - Exposure to tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. - Experience with version control systems like Git. - Academic projects or internships in testing or QA automation.
