QA Tester

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with hands-on experience in both Manual and Automation Testing. The ideal candidate should have a solid background working with product-based and service-based companies and be passionate about delivering high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute detailed test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing
• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications
• Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium, Appium, or similar tools
• Identify, document, and track bugs through to resolution
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to understand features and technical implementation
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and review meetings
• Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools
• Ensure the quality of software releases through systematic testing practices

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Manual and Automation Testing
• Experience in product-based and service-based environments
• Proficiency with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit)
• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, QA process, and best practices
• Knowledge of writing SQL queries and working with databases
• Experience in API testing
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred (Nice to Have):

• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environment
