Job Description

- Lead and manage the testing team in a software development project. - Develop and implement testing strategies, plans and procedures. - Define, document and maintain quality standards and procedures. - Develop and maintain test schedules. - Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide meaningful feedback. - Review test cases and test scripts to ensure they are comprehensive and accurate. - Coordinate and execute manual and automated tests, report defects and track their resolution. - Collaborate with development teams to ensure defects are understood and resolved in a timely manner. - Provide regular updates to project stakeholders on testing progress and status. - Mentor and provide guidance to junior testers. Prerequisites: - Bachelordegree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field. - Total 7+yrs of experience as a Test Lead. - Proven experience as a Test Lead or similar leadership role. - Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, techniques and tools. - Good understanding of software development life cycle. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to lead, motivate and manage a team of testers. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies. - Experience with test case management and bug tracking tools such as Jira, Zephyr, etc - Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, etc - Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies. - ISTQB/ASTQB certification.
