Role Overview: You demonstrate exceptional functional testing abilities, with a strong focus on identifying and addressing edge cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage, maintain high-quality standards, and prevent potential issues. You write detailed test cases to thoroughly evaluate software functionality, document defects meticulously, and track them through to resolution. Additionally, you actively participate in grooming and planning sessions, providing estimates for test activities. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain test plans to guide the testing process - Take responsibility for releases to ensure all functional testing requirements are met - Have a good understanding of JIRA and XRAY or similar test management tools - Possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in automation testing - Write test automation scripts for web applications and web services - Contribute to existing automation frameworks and build new frameworks from scratch - Demonstrate hands-on experience in JavaScript - Have a strong understanding of Selenium or other automation tools, and testing frameworks like Xunit - Possess a solid grasp of API testing and API automation, with familiarity in Postman automation being a plus - Have previous experience in testing conversational chatbot applications - Work with Agile software development methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban - Ensure meeting required quality deliverables and adhering to deadlines Qualifications Required: - Strong testing mindset with meticulous attention to detail - Good understanding of object-oriented design principles - Experience in automation scripting best practices - Proactive in providing inputs during grooming sessions - Stay updated on the latest technology developments and share learnings with the community - Previous work experience in the finance domain is considered a plus Company Additional Details: The company values mentoring and guiding junior team members to foster their growth and development.,
