As a QA Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding the QA processes and team members to ensure that software quality standards are met effectively across different projects. You will play a crucial role in both manual and automated testing efforts, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products. - Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers in manual and automation testing processes. - Allocate and prioritize tasks based on team capabilities and project timelines. - Conduct performance reviews and provide guidance on skill development. - Strong experience in web application testing, API testing, and Mobile testing (Android/iOS). - Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test plans, test cases, and scripts. - Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT). - Identify, report, and track defects using issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, ClickUp). - Review requirements and design documents to ensure thorough test coverage. - Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using popular testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress). - Set up and manage automated testing environments and test data. - Collaborate with developers to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline. - Analyze and report test results, identifying opportunities for test script improvements. - Develop test strategies, test scenarios, and overall quality assurance processes for projects. - Recommend improvements to testing processes to ensure efficiency, coverage, and best practices. - Participate in regular sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. - Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand product features and requirements. - Act as the point of contact for QA-related queries and concerns during the software development lifecycle. - Communicate test results clearly to stakeholders and provide timely feedback. - Experience: 5 to 6 years in manual and automation testing, including at least 1-2 years in a lead or senior role. - ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus. - Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
