QA / Process Specialist - Medical Coding

As a member of the Huron team, you will play a crucial role in helping healthcare organizations improve clinical outcomes and reduce the cost of patient care. Your responsibilities will include: - Monitoring and evaluating the performance of coding staff to ensure daily coding volume, assignments, and accuracy meet client goals - Collaborating with the Manager to address production and quality concerns, and working closely with training teams to communicate progress - Reviewing production and quality accuracy reports, providing feedback, and conducting monthly team meetings and annual performance evaluations - Mentoring staff to enhance performance and job satisfaction, ensuring professional and ethical standards are maintained - Demonstrating expertise in quality processes related to production schedules and medical coding guidelines, particularly in HCC risk adjustment coding - Utilizing analytical and problem-solving skills to identify patterns and trends, and focusing on continuous improvement projects - Participating in training sessions and educational conferences to update coding skills and knowledge Qualifications: - Graduation or Post Graduation in Life Science, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Zoology, Microbiology discipline - 5+ years of industry experience - CPC - Certified Coding Professional or CCS - Certified Coding Specialist certification Join Huron to contribute to the evolving healthcare landscape, optimize business operations, and drive better clinical outcomes while engaging with physicians, patients, and employees to create a consumer-centric healthcare experience.
