As a member of the Huron team, you will play a crucial role in assisting our clients in adapting to the rapidly changing healthcare landscape, optimizing existing business operations, improving clinical outcomes, enhancing the consumer experience, and fostering engagement among physicians, patients, and employees. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the day-to-day production and quality functions of a team of coders dedicated to meeting client production and coding accuracy goals. You will collaborate with supervisors to prepare operational reports, provide feedback on challenges, engage in client interactions, and participate in internal stakeholder meetings. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor the performance of coding staff, ensuring daily coding volume, assignments, project deadlines, and accuracy meet quality goals. - Collaborate with the Manager to address production and quality assurance concerns as necessary. - Review production and quality accuracy reports, share progress updates, and provide feedback on assigned projects. - Motivate team members through training and coaching to enhance quality and professionalism in work assignments. - Conduct team meetings, performance evaluations, and maintain attendance records. - Assist in special projects and mentor staff to optimize performance and job satisfaction. - Demonstrate expertise in quality processes, production schedules, and medical coding guidelines. - Utilize analytical and problem-solving skills to drive continuous improvement and maintain professional standards. Qualifications: - Graduate or Post Graduate in Life Science, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Zoology, Microbiology discipline - Minimum 5 years of industry experience - CPC - Certified Coding Professional or CCS - Certified Coding Specialist certification In this role, effective communication, attention to detail, technical proficiency, and problem-solving skills are essential.
