QA Manual - Senior Engineer

Experience Level

• Experience with Oracle databases (MUST HAVE)
• Ability to write SQL queries to validate backend data or assist in debugging code / tables
• Experience with Unix / Linux (MUST HAVE)
• Proficient in command line for navigating file systems, checking logs and services, running shell scripts and analysing server-side errors
• Manual Testing Experience (MUST HAVE)
• Create test plans, test cases to support validation of results, and runbooks
• Execution and monitoring of batch execution
• Experience with differing types of testing: functional, regression, integration
• Bug Tracking and Test Management (MUST HAVE)
• Experience with Jira, and capability in writing clear, reproducible error reports with logs and sufficient evidencing
• Knowledge of Agile / Scrum
• Experience working in iterative environments, participating in sprints and agile ceremonies

• Identify subtle issues other may miss e.g. inconsistent GUI behaviour or incorrect data flow / runbook steps detailed
