QA Manager or QA Assistant Manager

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development, implementation, and improvement of quality assurance and quality control systems across the organization.

Collaborate with top management to introduce and strengthen company-wide QA/QC processes and culture.

Develop and implement QAPs (Quality Assurance Plans) for both internal production and external vendors.

Define and standardize tolerances and inspection criteria for all mechanical components produced under Inoue Indias standards.

Organize and oversee process inspections and final inspections at vendor facilities.

Conduct vendor audits and capability assessments to ensure compliance with Inoue quality expectations.

Monitor non-conformities, lead root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and traceability for all QA/QC activities.

Train and guide internal teams and vendors on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.

Work closely with the design and production teams to maintain consistent quality from design to delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control within industrial or machinery manufacturing.

Proven experience in building and implementing QA/QC systems or frameworks from the ground up.

Strong knowledge of QAP preparation, process inspection, and final inspection procedures.

Understanding of fabrication, machining, and assembly processes for industrial machinery.

Familiarity with vendor quality management, tolerance control, and ISO or equivalent quality standards.

Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

Experience working with or exposure to Japanese manufacturing quality standards is an advantage.
