Role & responsibilities Supplier Followup Engineer 1. Supplier Qualification & Onboarding Lead supplier audits (onsite or remote) to assess compliance with quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100). Evaluate supplier capabilities, processes, and risk using PPAP, FMEA, and APQP tools. Approve or reject new suppliers based on technical, quality, and compliance criteria. 2. Performance Monitoring Track and report supplier quality KPIs (PPM, OTD, NCRs, Scorecards). Conduct periodic supplier reviews and improvement meetings. Identify trends using data analysis (Pareto, 8D, SPC) to drive improvement. 3. Issue Resolution & Root Cause Analysis Manage incoming quality issues: initiate SCARs (Supplier Corrective Action Requests). Lead 8D/root cause investigations and verify effectiveness of corrective actions. Escalate chronic issues and drive supplier performance recovery plans. 4. Continuous Improvement & Development Support supplier development programs (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen). Drive implementation of quality tools: PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Capability. Assist in developing quality agreements and Quality Control Plans (QCPs). 5. Regulatory & Compliance Support Ensure supplier compliance with regulatory and customer-specific requirements (RoHS, REACH, FDA, etc.). Support internal and external audits (e.g., ISO/IATF audits). Maintain traceability and documentation integrity for regulated industries (aerospace, medical, automotive, etc.). Preferred candidate profile Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial / Aeronautical Engineering or related field. 25 years experience in supplier coordination, preferably in the defence, aerospace, or heavy engineering sector. Good understanding of quality standards (AS9100, ISO 9001), inspection processes, and supplier audits. Strong interpersonal, communication, and follow-up skills. Proficient in MS Office tools; experience with ERP or project tracking systems preferred. Willingness to travel to supplier locations as needed.

Record inspection results in the prescribed formats accurately. Identify and report defects or non-conformities to the supervisor. Work on Blender 3D modeling workflows , integrating assets into real-time applications. Optimize rendering performance and manage large-scale 3D environments. Collaborate with design, product, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Preferred candidate profile Required Skills & Expertise Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.js .
