QA Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented QA Test Engineer Intern with a focus on automation testing using Pytest. This role offers an opportunity to work on real-world projects, improve product quality, and collaborate with development teams to design and execute automated test scripts. High-performing interns may be considered for a full-time role at the end of the internship.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Pytest.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and identify test scenarios.
• Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure software quality.
• Report, track, and validate defects using issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test cases and test plans.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings.
• Suggest improvements to enhance the QA process and automation coverage.

Qualifications & Skills

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Knowledge of Python and experience with Pytest framework.
• Understanding of software testing methodologies, including automation and manual testing.
• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
