Qa Engineer

1. Position Overview

The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all cleanroom panel installation works comply with project specifications, industry standards, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines. The role includes preparation, implementation, and monitoring of quality systems throughout the project lifecycle.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Quality Planning & Documentation

* Prepare and maintain Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) / Inspection Test Plans (ITP).

* Develop and control Method Statements, SOPs, and Work Instructions.

* Ensure all materials meet project specifications and verify vendor certificates (COC, COA, datasheets).

B. Material & Incoming Inspection

* Inspect incoming cleanroom panels, ceilings, trims, accessories, fasteners, sealants.

* Verify materials against approved submittals.

* Raise Material Inspection Reports (MIRs) and track approvals.

C. Installation Quality Monitoring

* Monitor panel alignment, plumb, level.

* Verify joint finishing, sealant application.

* Check ceiling grid installation accuracy.

* Ensure fixings and supports are as per approved drawings.

* Prevent damage and ensure clean handling.

D. Inspection & Testing

* Conduct stage inspections and final inspections.

* Perform air-tightness inspection where applicable.

* Prepare and maintain Inspection Requests (IRs).

E. NCR / Corrective Action Management

* Identify non-conformities and issue NCRs.

* Perform root cause analysis.

* Track Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA).

F. Documentation Control

* Maintain daily QA reports, inspection logs, calibration records.

* Manage as-built documentation and turnover files.

G. Compliance & Standards

* Ensure compliance with ISO 14644, GMP requirements, metal panel standards, and project-specific guidelines.

3. Skills & Qualifications

Mandatory:

* Diploma/Bachelor’s in Engineering.

* 2–4 years experience in QA roles.

* Ability to read drawings; strong documentation skills.

Preferred:

* HVAC/MEP interface knowledge.

* ISO 9001 awareness.

* Experience with alignment tools.
