We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to manage QA/QC activities for engineering construction projects, specifically in Civil, Structural, and Architectural disciplines. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with quality standards, managing documentation, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to maintain project integrity. Key Responsibilities Ensure quality and workmanship of all on-site activities align with project requirements and engineering standards. Oversee and manage all QA/QC documentation, including certificates, inspection reports, test results, calibration records, NCRs, and site observations. Inspect and verify material quality upon delivery and on-site to confirm compliance with specifications and project standards. Develop and implement inspection and test procedures, checklists, and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs). Monitor adherence to quality standards throughout all project stages and disciplines. Supervise inspection and testing activities; coordinate effectively with internal teams and subcontractors. Conduct internal quality audits and participate in external audits; ensure timely resolution of non-conformities. Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and job safety/environmental analyses as per project scope. Compile and submit regular quality performance reports and maintain thorough documentation. Coordinate inspections with consultants, site engineers, and contractors to ensure compliance. Key Skills Strong understanding of QA/QC principles and quality management systems. Proficient in quality control documentation and audit processes. Excellent communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams. High attention to detail with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and QA/QC reporting tools. Experience in preparing method statements, ITPs, and risk assessments. Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. QA/QC Certification (e.g., ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor) preferred. Familiarity with international codes, standards, and construction materials. Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.

As a QA/QC Engineer at SPECTRON Engineers Private Limited in Mumbai, you will be responsible for developing and implementing QA/QC procedures for both on-site and off-site project execution. Your key responsibilities will include conducting inspections and quality control of electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical works, reviewing WPS, PQR, ITPs, method statements, and third-party test reports, performing material inspection, calibration of instruments, and equipment verification. You will also be coordinating with clients, third-party inspectors, and internal teams for quality audits, ensuring compliance with applicable standards such as IS, API, ISO, and ASTM, as well as project specifications. As a Quality Control Engineer, your responsibilities will include: - Demonstrating knowledge and experience in the preparation of MQAPs, ITPs, Inspection Checklists, Review of Material Submittals, Method Statement/ SOPs, and related materials supplied to the site. - Conducting inspections, tests, and quality checks to ensure that the works executed adhere to approved MQAPs / ITPs, drawings, and work procedures/method statements. - Identifying Risks & opportunities, planning & implementing mitigation strategies for risks that may impact quality. Following up for corrective and risk mitigation on non-conformities. - Collaborating with the project team and client to address inspection and resolution of quality issues, including raising NAR (Non-Acceptance Report) and NCR (Non-Compliance Report) and ensuring timely closure. - Implementing and monitoring all Quality Management System (QMS) related activities. - Providing regular updates on quality deviations at the factory / vendor place and taking necessary corrective and preventive actions for continuous improvement. - Maintaining all QAQC-related documentation of the factory / vendor premises, such as Audit reports, site/vendor inspections, stage inspection reports, Routine test reports, FATs, NCRs, site observations, Raw Material test certificates, MTC, and training records. - Conducting quality inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards. - Participating in quality meetings and contributing insights for project improvement. - Managing quality records, documentation, and reports effectively. - Evaluating vendor quality performance and ensuring adherence to quality standards. - Reviewing project specifications, drawings, and contract documents to ensure quality requirements are met. - Monitoring and reporting on quality objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of quality control measures and identify areas for improvement.,
