Perform
incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections
of mechanical parts, subassemblies, and finished equipment.
Utilize measuring instruments such as
vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and CMMs
.
Interpret
engineering drawings and GD&T standards
to validate part accuracy.
Document and maintain
inspection reports
,
non-conformance reports (NCRs)
, and
corrective actions (CAPA)
.
Collaborate with production and design teams to address and resolve
quality issues
.
Support
root cause analysis
(RCA) and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Assist in maintaining
ISO 9001 compliance
and support internal/external audits.
Monitor and track
quality metrics and KPIs
.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors/Diploma in
Mechanical Engineering
or equivalent.
3–5 years
of QA/QC experience in a
machine tool or industrial equipment manufacturing environment
.
Strong understanding of
machining, assembly processes
, and quality control standards.
Familiar with
GD&T
, technical drawings, and material specifications.
Proficient in using
quality tools
like 5 Why, Ishikawa, FMEA, and 8D.
Knowledge of
ISO 9001
and related QMS documentation.
Working knowledge of
MS Office
; exposure to ERP system is preferred.

Preferred Skills:

Exposure to
CNC machining
, heavy fabrication, or hydraulic systems.
Experience working with
suppliers
and conducting
first article inspections
.
Certification in
CQE, Six Sigma
, or
ISO Internal Auditor
is a plus.
