QA Engineer

You are being offered an exciting opportunity to join our team as a QA Engineer for our product CookieYes. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the development team to create test cases for a SaaS application and carry out their execution. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the quality of both new features and existing functionalities within the application, detecting issues across the system, and promptly communicating them to the development team. Additionally, you will be tasked with reviewing and analyzing user stories and system specifications for validity and feasibility, implementing test automations, conducting regression testing for each release, and executing load testing to guarantee scalability. Your valuable inputs and suggestions to enhance the application's usability will also be highly appreciated. To excel in this position, you should possess 1-3 years of experience in software testing and demonstrate proficiency in both manual and automated testing. Prior experience with Playwright would be advantageous. A strong understanding of testing methodologies, software development life cycle (SDLC), and software testing life cycle (STLC) is essential. Your problem-solving abilities, coupled with an analytical and logical thinking approach, will be key to success. Hands-on familiarity with automated testing tools, load testing tools, and API testing tools is required, as well as knowledge of defect tracking tools like Jira. Proficiency in regression testing, load testing, and a solid grasp of web development fundamentals are also vital. Being a team player with excellent communication skills will further complement your qualifications for this role.,
