QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Test Strategy & Execution:

  Design and execute comprehensive

  test plans and test cases

  for both manual and automated testing. This includes functional, regression, performance, and security testing.

• Bug Reporting:

  Identify, document, and track software defects in a clear and detailed manner, communicating findings to the development team and other stakeholders.

• Automation:

  Develop, maintain, and execute

  automated test scripts

  using various frameworks and tools.

• Collaboration:

  Work closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to understand product requirements, review specifications, and ensure that all features meet quality standards.

• Process Improvement:

  Participate in and contribute to the improvement of QA processes and methodologies, often in an Agile or Scrum environment.

• Validation:

  Verify that all issues and bugs are resolved before software releases.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Skills:

• Testing Methodologies:

  A strong understanding of software testing life cycles (STLC) and methodologies, including Agile.

• Automation Tools:

  Proficiency with automation tools like

  Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright

  .

• Bug Tracking:

  Experience with bug tracking and project management tools such as

  JIRA, Trello, or Asana

  .

• Programming:

  Knowledge of programming or scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript is essential for test automation.

• APIs:

  Experience with API testing using tools like

  Postman

  or similar platforms.

• Databases:

  Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.
