QA Automation Tester

As an Automation Test Engineer at Chaitanya Placement Agency, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities: - Designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated test scripts using Selenium, Appium with Java, and Playwright (Java/JavaScript/TypeScript) - Performing manual testing to validate UI and functional behavior of web and mobile applications across browsers and devices - Developing and executing API test scripts using tools like Postman and frameworks like REST-assured - Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) - Collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members in Agile/Scrum environments - Writing clear, comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, and test cases - Participating in code reviews, bug triage meetings, and helping improve test coverage and product quality - Conducting cross-platform and cross-browser testing for consistent user experiences Qualifications required for this role include: - Strong hands-on experience with Selenium and Appium using Java - Experience in Playwright automation - Proficiency in manual testing, UI validation, and bug reporting - Solid understanding of API testing with Postman and REST-assured - Experience with Git and working in CI/CD environments - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr - Strong programming knowledge in Java In addition to the required qualifications, it would be nice to have experience with Cypress using JavaScript/TypeScript and exposure to BDD frameworks like Cucumber.,
