Job Description for QA Tester Automation

Exp : 2 to 4 years Roles and Responsibility

 Collaborate with product, development, and other QA teams to understand requirements, define test scope, and develop comprehensive test plans and strategies.

 Participate in sprint planning and daily stand-ups, providing insights on testing progress and challenges.

API Testing:

 Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for RESTful and SOAP APIs using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or custom frameworks.

 Validate API functionality, data integrity, error handling, security, and performance.

 Understand and work with various data formats such as JSON and XML.

Load and Performance Testing:

 Design, develop, and execute load, stress, scalability, and endurance tests using JMeter.

 Analyze performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide recommendations for performance tuning and optimization.

 Monitor system metrics (CPU, memory, network, database) during performance tests.

UI Automation (Selenium):

 Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable automated test scripts for web applications using Selenium WebDriver (with

Java, Python, or a similar language).

 Implement and maintain test automation frameworks (e.g., Page Object Model).

 Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.

Defect Management:

 Identify, document, and track software defects with clear, concise, and reproducible steps.

 Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution of defects.

 Participate in defect triage meetings and provide recommendations for prioritization.

Process Improvement:

 Continuously evaluate and recommend new testing tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance QA processes and efficiency.

 Contribute to the improvement of test automation frameworks and test practices.

 Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards and best practices throughout the SDLC.

Collaboration & Communication:

 Work effectively within Agile/Scrum teams.

 Communicate test results, risks, and progress clearly and proactively to stakeholders.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹13,661.22 - ₹50,171.10 per month
