QA Automation Tester

As an Automation Tester at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our software products. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing automation test scripts for mobile applications and web-based applications. - Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and develop test strategies. - Executing test scripts, analyzing test results, and reporting defects, anomalies, and issues. - Participating in test planning, test case creation, and test data setup. - Contributing to the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports. - Identifying and prioritizing test cases for automation to achieve maximum test coverage. - Performing regression testing, performance testing, and compatibility testing as required. - Collaborating with developers to ensure timely resolution of defects and improvements in the software. - Staying current with industry best practices, tools, and techniques related to automation testing. Skills required for this role include: - Proven experience in mobile application testing and web-based application testing. - Proficiency in writing test scripts and codes from scratch. - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience as an Automation Tester using Selenium WebDriver and Java. - Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices. - Familiarity with test management tools and version control systems. - Solid understanding of web technologies and experience testing web applications. - Experience with continuous integration and building tools is a plus. - Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members. - ISTQB or similar certification is a bonus.
