QA Automation Tester

As a QA Automation Tester, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure software quality across web and mobile applications. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing and maintaining automation test scripts using tools like Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, or Cypress. - Automating regression, functional, and smoke tests for web and mobile applications. - Integrating automated tests within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI). - Performing API testing using Postman or Rest Assured. - Validating backend data using SQL queries. - Collaborating with development and QA teams to improve automation coverage and test efficiency. - Preparing test reports and ensuring test results align with project requirements. To excel in this role, you are required to have: - 1 year of experience in Automation Testing (Selenium, TestNG, or Cypress). - Strong knowledge of Java or Python for scripting automation. - Experience in API testing (Postman, Rest Assured). - Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies. - Basic knowledge of manual testing for exploratory and UI validation. - Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills. Additionally, the qualification required for this position is a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
