Senior Quality Engineer, Martech platforms

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements and specifications. Ensure thorough coverage of both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Design, develop and maintain

  automation frameworks

  for testing using Python/Java. Enhance existing test automation suites to improve efficiency and coverage.

• Use advanced SQL skills to query databases for data validation and testing. Write complex SQL queries to validate data transformation and integration.
• Identify, document, and prioritize defects. Work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution and re-testing of defects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements, clarify ambiguities, and provide testing insights.
• Drive innovation by evaluating emerging technologies in AI, automation, and martech.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software testing, with significant expertise in both manual and automated testing.
• Strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java).
• Experience with performance and security testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, OWASP tools) is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with different partners.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong database skills (SQL, PL/SQL, Data Warehousing concepts, ETL).
• Hands-on experience with

  DevOps practices

  (CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, VSTS).
• Exposure to

  digital marketing platforms

  , customer data platforms (CDPs), or loyalty systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong ETL and Data warehousing skills/experience is added advantage
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks (scikit-learn, AWS AI services, or similar).
• Knowledge of Digital Marketing platforms (Adobe Experience cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, GCP, etc.).
• Understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and ethical AI practices.
• Consulting experience or client-facing roles in martech or digital transformation projects.
