Role Overview:
We are looking for a
highly skilled and detail-oriented QA Automation Lead (Python Automation Engineer)
with 35 years of experience in
Python-based test automation
using the
Robot Framework
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the quality, reliability, and performance of our software applications through effective test design, execution, and automation practices.
Roles And Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and the Robot Framework for UI, Mobile, and API automation.
- Lead automation initiatives and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior QA engineers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners) to identify, prioritize, and automate test cases.
- Continuously identify opportunities to enhance test coverage, efficiency, and framework scalability through automation.
Technical Competencies:
- Strong ability to identify, document, and prioritize defects based on severity and business impact.
- Proven expertise in Python automation using the Robot Framework.
- Solid foundation in Python programming, including familiarity with standard libraries and test automation frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with source control tools such as Git for version management.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) is an added advantage.
