Job Description

QA Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain
automated test scripts
using
Selenium WebDriver
with
Java
Create and execute
test plans
,
test cases
, and
test scripts
for UI, functional, regression, and integration testing
Perform
database validation and SQL query execution
for backend verification
Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams in Agile environments
Conduct
code reviews
, test result analysis, and debugging of test scripts
Maintain and enhance the
test automation framework
using tools like Maven, TestNG, and Jenkins
Participate in API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured (optional but a plus)

Required Skills

69 years of total QA experience with a
strong focus on automation
Expertise in
Selenium WebDriver
with
Java
Proficiency in writing and maintaining
SQL queries
,
stored procedures
, and performing
database validations
Experience with
test automation frameworks
(TestNG, JUnit, Maven, etc.)
Hands-on experience with
version control systems
like Git
Experience with
CI/CD pipelines
(Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.)
Strong knowledge of
SDLC
and
Agile methodologies
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills

Good to Have

Experience with
API testing
(Postman, REST Assured)
Familiarity with tools like
JIRA

Bitbucket
,
Docker
Exposure to
cloud platforms
(AWS, Azure) is a plus
Knowledge of
performance testing
tools (JMeter, Gatling) is a bonus
