QA Automation Engineer (Selenium + Python)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Selenium and Python to join our growing QA team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation frameworks, CI/CD integration, API testing, and performance testing, along with a passion for improving software quality and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Independently design, develop, and execute automation scripts using Selenium Python.

Develop and maintain QA automation frameworks using tools like Pytest or Robot Framework.

Set up and enforce automation testing standards, helping build a fully automated testing pipeline.

Integrate automation tests into the CI/CD pipeline for fast and reliable regression feedback.

Conduct API automation using Python.

Perform load and performance testing using JMeter and suggest improvements based on results.

Configure and maintain test environments, including software, hardware, and test data.

Guide and mentor junior QA team members and analysts.

Perform automation code reviews to maintain quality and efficiency.

Collaborate closely with software developers to enhance overall product quality.

Document testing processes, bugs, and analysis results thoroughly.

Keep updated with industry best practices, tools, and competitor benchmarking.

Work continuously on improving code quality, reliability metrics, and testing efficiency.

Required Skills:

5+ years of hands-on QA automation experience.

Expert in Python programming and Selenium WebDriver.

Proficiency with testing frameworks such as Pytest, Robot Framework.

Solid experience in API automation using Python tools.

Strong debugging and troubleshooting abilities.

Familiar with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitHub, Bamboo.

Hands-on knowledge of performance/load testing tools like JMeter.

Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline creation.

Experience using test management tools like JIRA.

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) is a plus

Ability to write clean, testable, and efficient code.
