Work Location:

QA Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automation suites using Python and Selenium.
Build reusable and scalable test frameworks and tools.
Prepare test plans, test cases, and execute automation & functional testing.
Work closely with development teams to ensure on-time, high-quality releases.
Lead and guide QA team members; review automation scripts and deliverables.
Perform Web, API/Services, and Database testing.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, requirement reviews, and design discussions.
Conduct regression, system, and integration testing.
Capture QA metrics, perform risk analysis, and ensure testing best practices.
Contribute to continuous improvement of automation processes.

Required Skills

8+ years
of hands-on automation testing experience using
Python (Mandatory)
.
Strong experience in
Selenium
,
UFT
, and Python-based automation frameworks (PyTest, PyRaft, etc.).
Strong understanding of QA methodologies and Agile processes (Scrum).
Experience testing
SOAP/REST APIs
and understanding SOA concepts.
Strong SQL skills and experience with Git.
Experience with test data management and defect tracking tools (Jira/ALM).
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Good to Have

Knowledge of
AWS/Azure
, microservices testing, Docker & containers.
Experience in building custom automation frameworks.

Education

Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science / Information Systems (Preferred)
