Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and scripts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, QA analysts) to understand requirements and define test strategies.
Automate functional, regression, integration, and performance tests.
Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and report defects with detailed documentation.
Continuously improve test automation processes, frameworks, and best practices.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for faster and reliable releases.
Monitor test execution, debug failures, and work with developers to resolve issues.
Maintain proper test documentation and contribute to QA knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
2–5 years of experience in test automation and QA engineering.
Strong programming skills in at least one language (Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript).
Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, etc.).
Good understanding of software testing principles (functional, regression, performance, API, UI).
Experience with API automation (Postman, RestAssured, Karate, etc.).
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.).
Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

Experience in testing cloud-based applications (AWS).
Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow).
Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter).
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
