QA Automation Engineer II

As a Test Automation Engineer, your role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks for both ERP desktop and web application modules. You will collaborate with QA, product owners, and ERP SMEs to translate functional workflows into automated test cases. Additionally, you will integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing across ERP environments. Your responsibilities also include mentoring junior engineers on Playwright and ERP automation best practices and ensuring compliance with quality standards, audit requirements, and ERP release processes. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks for ERP desktop and web application modules - Collaborating with QA, product owners, and ERP SMEs to translate functional workflows into automated test cases - Integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing across ERP environments - Mentoring junior engineers on Playwright and ERP automation best practices - Ensuring compliance with quality standards, audit requirements, and ERP release processes - Providing clear reporting on automation execution and defect trends To qualify for this role, you should have: - 5+ years of software test automation experience, with at least 2+ years using Playwright or Selenium - Experience with API testing - Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in sprint-based delivery models - Hands-on experience in designing, developing, executing, and maintaining test scenarios and test cases for various applications - Strong background in building and maintaining hybrid automation frameworks - Experience automating complex ERP workflows - Strong knowledge of API automation for ERP integrations - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines - Understanding of ERP authentication challenges - Proficiency with test management tools and defect tracking - Good communication, interpersonal, presentation, and problem-solving skills Preferred qualifications include experience with specific ERPs, exposure to virtualization/containerization for ERP test environments, knowledge of RPA tools, experience with performance testing of ERP applications, and understanding of AI/ML-driven automation frameworks for ERP test optimization.
