QA Automation Engineer - Cypress

Ob Summary We are looking for an experienced Automation Tester with 4+ years of experience in testing web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Cypress for web automation. You will work in a fast-paced agile environment to design, develop, and execute automated tests for both web and mobile applications, ensuring the highest quality software deliverables. Qualifications 4+ years of experience in automation testing with a strong focus on Cypress or Selenium for web automation. Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript or Java for writing automated test scripts. Deep understanding of web testing across different browsers and devices. Experience in integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, Azure DevOps). Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. Experience in API testing using tools like Postman, Rest-Assured, or similar. Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail. Effective communication skills to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with other web automation tools like Playwright, or Protractor. Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber or SpecFlow. Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms such as BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or AWS Device Farm. Performance testing experience using tools like JMeter. Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker for running test suites.
