ob Summary: We are looking for an experienced Automation Tester with 4+ years of experience in testing web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Cypress for web automation. You will work in a fast-paced agile environment to design, develop, and execute automated tests for both web and mobile applications, ensuring the highest quality software deliverables. Qualifications: 4+ years of experience in automation testing with a strong focus on Cypress or Selenium for web automation. Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript or Java for writing automated test scripts. Deep understanding of web testing across different browsers and devices. Experience in integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, Azure DevOps). Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. Experience in API testing using tools like Postman, Rest-Assured, or similar. Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail. Effective communication skills to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience with other web automation tools like Playwright, or Protractor. Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber or SpecFlow. Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms such as BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or AWS Device Farm. Performance testing experience using tools like JMeter. Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker for running test suites. Roles and Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress or Selenium for web applications. Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to understand project requirements and translate them into test cases. Perform end-to-end, functional, integration, regression, and cross-platform testing for both web and mobile applications. Create and execute automated test suites to validate web and mobile application functionality, performance, and usability. Implement automation solutions that integrate with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab CI. Ensure mobile and web automation frameworks are scalable, maintainable, and reusable across different applications. Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as JIRA, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues. Execute cross-device and cross-browser tests to ensure compatibility across various platforms. Ensure continuous test coverage by maintaining and updating test scripts with evolving application changes. Review and enhance existing test cases to improve test effectiveness and automation stability. Prepare detailed test reports and communicate test results, progress, and issues effectively with the team. Stay up to date with the latest testing tools, technologies, and trends, and recommend improvements to the testing process.
