QA Automation Engineer

Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Automation Intern to support our software testing efforts. The ideal candidate will assist in designing manual and automated test cases, identify bugs, and contribute to delivering high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure software quality.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using issue-tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or Trello.
• Perform various testing types including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Assist in developing and maintaining automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Postman, or similar.
• Work closely with the development team to facilitate timely resolution of issues and continuous quality improvement.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines by integrating testing processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of experience in software testing, including manual and automation testing.
• Good understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
• Experience with bug-tracking tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Azure DevOps.
• Basic knowledge of test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Postman.
• Understanding of APIs and experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger.
• Familiarity with SQL for database validation and backend testing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
• Ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum teams and adapt to changing requirements.
