The QA Analyst II is Automation test engineer who is technically strong and has the business knowledge to execute, analyze, deliver and support any feature in the application. The incumbent must establish and maintain testing environments as well as analyze, verify, and troubleshoot test results against requirements. The QA Analyst II is required to report task progress, suggest creative ideas and approaches for improvement, and escalate issues to the Sr. QA Analyst and Lead Analyst, Staff and work with PO/PM and EL's
Principal Accountabilities
- Own the senior QA member or Lead in identifying test scope, test risks, and test methodology.
- Work in POD model with agile adoption and lead the POD with TDD
- should be able to support deployments along with Senior staffs
- Must know how to deal with Prod incidents and respond with RCA
- Must be aware of Cloud / preferably Google cloud and services
- Should be handson with Testing tools - postman, Bruno, any load testing tools
- Create and maintain test documentation as per the POD / sprint
- should actively participate in sprint refinements to retros
- Execute test responsibilities with very minimal supervision.
- Interface and communicate with internal teams and external support groups for demos, prod incidents, deployment support
Skills & Software Requirements
Must be experienced with SQL and Linux/UNIX with good knowledge in Java, Cloud . For QA position automation preferably selenium, hands on SQL/BQ required, apart from functional testing
