Job Description

Position Summary:

Python Developer

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deploy backend services and RESTful APIs using Python frameworks (FastAPI/Flask/Django).
Architect and implement microservices for modular and scalable product growth.
Work with databases such as MongoDB and Firebase, focusing on design, integration, and performance tuning.
Collaborate with frontend, AI/ML, and DevOps teams for seamless end-to-end solution delivery.
Integrate third-party services, ML models, and OCR/computer vision tools (pytesseract, OpenCV).
Write unit and integration tests to ensure reliability and maintainability.
Support CI/CD pipelines and Docker-based deployment workflows (preferably on AWS EC2).
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve critical production issues.
Maintain clean code practices, perform code reviews, and document technical processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum
2 years of hands-on Python development
experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
Experience with REST API development and OpenAPI/Swagger documentation.
Familiarity with microservices, Docker, and asynchronous programming.
Proficiency in MongoDB; experience with Firebase/Firestore is a plus.
Comfortable with Linux environments, Git version control, and deployment pipelines.
Basic knowledge of cloud platforms, especially AWS EC2 and S3.
Strong analytical mindset and willingness to learn emerging technologies.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills:

Exposure to AI/ML workflows and model integration.
Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, or Infrastructure-as-Code.
Understanding of frontend integration (React, Next.js) is a plus.
Prior experience in
insurance, fintech, or SaaS-based products
will be advantageous.
