Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend components for Lending applications.
Build Restful APIs and microservices for application and third-party integrations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, and Dev Ops to deliver scalable solutions.
Ensure security and compliance in handling financial and customer data.
Optimize application performance, database queries, and code efficiency.
Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing systems.
Participate in system architecture discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 4 years of experience in Python backend development.
Proficiency in Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
Strong experience in Fintech or Lending applications (Loan Origination, Loan Management, KYC, Payments, Credit Assessment).
Hands-on experience with MySQL / PostgreSQL/ MONGODB and database optimization.
Experience with Restful APIs, microservices, and asynchronous task processing (Celery, Redis).
Familiarity with Docker, AWS / Cloud environments, and CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of data security standards and API authentication (JWT, OAuth).
