About the Role

Acviss is looking for a skilled Python Developer to join our growing engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building scalable backend systems, designing APIs, and optimizing performance for high-traffic applications. You will work on cutting-edge brand protection technology using AI, blockchain, and cloud-based products used by global enterprises.

Required Skills & Technologies

Core Technical Skills

• Python Strong coding and problem-solving skills
• Django and Django REST Framework
• MySQL (schema design, queries, optimization)
• JavaScript (good working knowledge)

Backend Infrastructure

• Nginx (setup, configuration, reverse proxying)
• AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.)
• Redis (caching, pub/sub)
• RabbitMQ (message queues)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python, Django, and Django REST Framework.
• Build clean, scalable, and secure APIs for internal and external use.
• Implement and optimize server-side logic, databases, and caching layers.
• Manage deployments and configurations using AWS, Nginx, and containerized environments.
• Develop integrations with third-party services and internal microservices.
• Work with MySQL, Redis, and RabbitMQ for data storage, caching, and messaging queues.
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality features.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure performance, uptime, and API reliability.

Good to Have:

• AWS (Lambda, ECS, EC2, S3, SQS, Elastic Transcoder)
• Docker / Kubernetes basics
• CI/CD exposure
• Custom ETL workflow experience
• Python libraries like Numpy, Pandas etc
• UI like Angular 8+, HTML, CSS
• Experience with microservices
