Python ML Engineer Experience : 3 to 4 years Location : Chennai Type : Full-time About the Role We are looking for a talented and motivated Machine Learning Engineer with strong experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Python . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing and deploying machine learning models, particularly focused on text data, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy NLP models for text classification, information extraction, summarization, and/or sentiment analysis. Preprocess and clean large text corpora using NLP tools and libraries. Implement and fine-tune machine learning models using libraries like scikit-learn , spaCy , Transformers , or TensorFlow/Keras . Work with OCR tools (e.g., Tesseract , EasyOCR ) if working with scanned documents/images. Collaborate with data scientists, backend engineers, and product managers to integrate ML models into production systems. Analyse model performance and continuously improve accuracy, precision, and recall. Write clean, maintainable, and testable Python code. Required Skills & Qualifications 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in Machine Learning and NLP using Python. Strong grasp of text preprocessing , tokenization , POS tagging , NER , topic modelling , etc. Experience with spaCy , NLTK , Hugging Face Transformers , or similar NLP libraries. Experience building and tuning models for classification, clustering, or regression tasks. Knowledge of OCR technologies (e.g., Tesseract , OpenCV ) is a plus. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git ) and agile development. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field. 📩 Don’t miss out!
