Python Developer (Odoo)

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with expertise in Odoo ERP to design, develop, and maintain custom modules, features, and integrations. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Odoo architecture and business workflows, and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules based on business requirements.
• Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for improvements using Odoo.
• Integrate Odoo with third-party systems using Odoo APIs.
• Develop and maintain backend logic using Python and PostgreSQL.
• Design and implement user-friendly interfaces using Odoo’s QWeb, XML, and JavaScript.
• Troubleshoot and debug Odoo issues; provide technical support and bug fixes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for developed modules.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Follow best practices for code versioning, testing, and deployment.
• Stay up to date with Odoo’s new releases and community modules.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Odoo development (OpenERP).
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL database management.
• Experience with Odoo framework, architecture, and standard modules (Sales, CRM, Accounting, Inventory, HR, etc.).
• Familiarity with front-end technologies: JavaScript, XML, QWeb, HTML, and CSS.
• Knowledge of Git or other version control systems.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills to interact with functional teams and clients.
